550 PARACHUTE CORD

550 Parachute Cord has 7 strands in the core similar to military spec but without the fancy (and expensive) cover yarn.  Still wears like iron and has 550 pound strength.  Great for camping, tie downs, shoe laces, emergency and survival situations, etc., etc.
