1807 Thomas Burfield founded his rope company in Hailsham, East Sussex
England - and the present-day Marlow factory still manufactures rope on
Burfield's original site. Today the company makes high-performance ropes
that supply the Leisure Marine, Rope Access, Defense, Arboriculture and
Industrial Markets.
