From the early 1900s, Davey & Company has been producing a range of deck prisms to bring natural light down below. Manufactured in England, these prisms are solid glass with deep bronze frames. It is recommended when installing the glass to clean the inside of frame and glass edges with Acetone, set caulking cotton in same method as in a deck, using only a light tap to set the cotton, then using a black caulking epoxy to seal and waterproof on top of the cotton. It is NOT recommended to set the glass in a strong adhesive such as 3M 5200. Chrome options available. For thinner decks, such as steel, aluminium or fiberglass, the frame is fixed to the deck first and the glass is then set into the frame from the top.</p>
